»50 Kitchens, One Home« – Basiliscus Film produced 50 magazine features over nine months on behalf of Deutsche Welle for the lifestyle magazine euromaxx.

[ Stephanie Drescher](https://basiliscus.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=175:author-stephanie-drescher-uk&catid=19:team&lang=en-GB&Itemid=674 "Author Stephanie Drescher") was responsible for editing, research and organisation, whilst [Uwe Schwarze](https://basiliscus.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=176:cameraman-camera-operator-berlin&catid=19:team&lang=en-GB&Itemid=672 "Cameraman Berlin – Uwe Schwarze") handled camera work and [post-production](https://basiliscus.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=181:avid-postproduction-berlin-germany&catid=22:profil-videoproduktion-berlin&lang=en-GB&Itemid=656 "Post production and VFX in Berlin"). Together, we filmed in 50 Berlin kitchens, wrote all the voice-over scripts and penned the text for the accompanying publication. **50 people, 50 recipes, 50 stories** about home, cooking and life in one of the world’s most diverse cities.

When Brazilians cook, they don't just cook – they celebrate. Capturing that energy without staging it was the real challenge of this episode. Her [Atelier Culinário](https://sabinehueck.de/ "Atelier Culinário") is an extraordinary place where you can enjoy Brazilian cuisine (every dish is delicious), where you can have engaging conversations and get to know interesting people. At the end of the day, you will leave this place more than happy. “For me, it's not just about food. It's about everything. For example, how to welcome people, how to cover the table, all these small details. It's social, as in a living room, like a big family“, says Sabine Hueck. And when you are with her, you feel exactly what she means.
