Ultra-compact full frame camcorder
The Sony FX6 is a small and lightweight 4K camcorder with E-mount lens mount. It features a 10.2-megapixel rear-exposed full-frame Exmor R CMOS sensor that delivers impressive image quality with high dynamic range and low noise. The use of a full-frame sensor allows the FX6 to deliver outstanding results even in difficult lighting conditions.
The FX6 uses Sony's E-mount lens system, which allows for a wide choice of high-quality lenses. This makes the camcorder versatile and adaptable to different requirements and shooting situations. We also have a wide range of E-mount lenses from Sony and Sigma. All our prime and zoom lenses are available for rent.
The Sony FX6 features the popular S-Cinetone colour profile, adopted from Sony's professional Cinema Line cameras. This colour profile offers a natural and cinematic colour reproduction, which is particularly advantageous for the production of cinema films and high-quality videos.
The FX6's autofocus system is one of the most advanced and fastest hybrid autofocus systems. Besides a very well functioning mode for human eye and face detection, there is also a mode for animals. With the touch screen, all objects and people can be selected for the autofocus system and always stay in focus.
The FX6 offers a wide range of features specifically designed for professional video production. These include high-quality internal recording options, a built-in electronic ND filter, dual-base ISO to improve recording quality in different lighting conditions, time-lapse and slow-motion recording, proxy recording, two media slots for SD or CFexpress cards (type A) and plenty of professional interfaces for expansion and data processing on the film set.
Not to mention internal 4:2:2 recording with 10-bit colour sampling and S-Log3. Via HDMI and an external Atomos Ninja V recorder - which you can also rent from us - RAW recordings can also be made. What more could you want!
