Precision, quality and technological excellence are the cornerstones of aap Implantate AG. As an internationally renowned specialist in traumatology, the Berlin-based company develops and manufactures medical devices to the highest standards. Our goal was to capture these complex processes in a corporate film that reflects aap's exacting standards and brings industrial manufacturing to life for customers worldwide.

A Look Inside High-Tech Manufacturing

From the Berlin site in Tempelhof, anatomical plate systems and specialised screws are shipped around the world. The corporate film offers an exclusive behind-the-scenes view: we accompany the entire production process of the medical devices.

• Authentic Documentation: Our camera crew accompanied the various departments and captured the transformation of metre-long titanium rods into high-precision implants.
• Process Transparency: From the first milling operation through polishing, measuring and cleaning to sterile packaging – we make the unbroken quality chain visible.
• Studio Shoots and Post-Production: The finished aap products were elaborately staged in our studio and further enhanced in our post-production with animated graphics.

Macro Aesthetics: Quality You Can Almost Feel

Particular attention was paid to the tactile quality and fine texture of the products. Although the implants are made from robust titanium, they are distinguished by an incredibly refined surface structure.

To translate this quality visually, we isolated and staged a selection of products in our studio. Using a specialised macro setup (Nikon Z6 & Atomos Ninja V), we were able to capture details that often remain invisible to the naked eye.

• Visualising Expertise: The film concludes with the specialised instruments developed by aap, demonstrating the precision with which the implants are ultimately used on patients.
