Announcement and visualization of the 30-minute web documentary
The examination of cultural creativity on the African continent is currently receiving a great deal of attention in Germany. This is true whether in the course of debates about coming to terms with colonialism or about the goals of cultural funding and foreign cultural work.
With the expiration of the program TURN – Fund for Artistic Cooperation between Germany and African Countries, the knowledge and experiences accumulated in the framework of the TURN projects since 2012 are to be made visible and available in the form of an interactive web film along central guiding questions.
The film focuses on the goals of the TURN funding as well as the self-imposed goals of the projects and previously unintended events and results of the funding. The film's target groups are primarily cultural practitioners and cultural policy actors.
From January to October 2020, our camera team visited a wide variety of projects from the funding and produced a 30-minute web documentary. This trailer was created to announce and promote the web documentary.
